Prizes and Professional Achievements:
First Iranian author to receive an international prize in children’s literature

1966 – Authorof first book published by Kanoon “Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults”, Unexpected Guests, published 18 times until 2008 and translated in English, French and Korean.
1968 – Winner of the Golden Plaque at the Bologna Children’s Book Fairin Italy , and the UNESCO prize of Japan for The Crystal Flower and the Sun.
1960’s – Founding member of the Council of Children’s Books
1960’s –Founding member of Kanoon “Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults”.
